Spurlock unleash their inner GeekSan Diego Comic-Con International began in 1970 as a one day convention where comic book fans gathered in the basement of Hotel America Grant and magazines bought and traded. Just over 100 people attended. That, according to the original founders Mike Towry and Richard Alf was considered successful participation. Could be expected to increase by an annual phenomenon of pop culture than ever in recent years had less than 100,000 people in attendance? Although they continue to manage the areas for display, not so much about comics, companies of major media, especially television networks and movie studios, competing for space to promote their latest productions, with big names of Hollywood celebrities and filmmakers as huge press panels.I hosts have never been to Comic-Con, and frankly, I have no desire to attend one. One of the reasons why he appreciates the Comic-Con Episode IV: Hope of an amateur, the new Morgan Spurlock documentary, is that it allows people like me to see the convention from a safe distance – there is no anxiety of not entering in sold-out events, no waiting in obscenely long lines, no pushing or pushing through dense crowds, no chance of being deafened by a cheering crowd, there is no risk to get into fights with foam fanboys because of a misunderstanding. Obviously, there are shown all over the San Diego Convention Center, but it does take wonderful snapshots of the most important, the most prominent of the celebrity press panels in a 6,500-seat Hall Hope Fan known as HA, to two joint venture between Spurlock and executive produced by Stan Lee, Joss Whedon, and Harry Knowles is a fun mix of images from the convention, focused interviews, and testimonials from fans. Although some of the latter are given by anonymous assistants, most are given by celebrities, all of whom feel a personal connection with the Comic-Con and community. Whedon, Knowles, and Lee, make statements, but so do Frank Miller, Seth Green, Seth Rogen, Thomas Jane, Eli Roth, Olivia Wilde, and most fun of Kevin Smith. One notable absence is Spurlock himself. In fact, this is the first of his documentaries in which there does appear, nor does it provide a narrative. This raises the question of why he feels so drawn to the Comic-Con. Whether or not according to his previous documentaries, their appearances they made it clear he had no interest in subjects.Filmed during the convention of 2010, the film documents the lives of six fans, all the nicknames, all of which come from different parts of America and have very personal reasons to attend. We Jump Harvey and Henson, Eric. The former tends bar sci-fi theme while the second is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force. Both are talented illustrators who dream of being hired by a major comics publisher. Armed with the portfolios, to wait in long lines to have their work criticized by representatives trained. We James Darling and his girlfriend were Young Kang, who immediately dropped after the first session at Comic-Con a few years earlier. James now wants to propose to be young with great style, that is, during a panel hosted by Kevin Smith. Despite its planning and coordination, the only thing that James did not young man refuses to leave his side even for a few minutes. This will be a tough year to get off two most pressing issues are Holly and Chuck Rozanski Conrad. The first is a young costume / creature designer and seamstress, she, along with a group of friends, participate in the ball of the Comic-Con Masquerade dress up as characters from Mass Effect video game. Naturally, the costumes were meticulously crafted by hand by itself. One of her friends dressed as an alien creature, which requires the use of a motorized head latex. The end result could easily compete in a theme park animatronics. The latter is the owner of a shop in Denver Mile High Comics, which is struggling to turn a profit. He brings with him his most prized possession: a problem of mint first condition of the Red Raven, one of the rarest comic books ever published. Understandably, he laments the fact that Comic-Con over the years turned increasingly away from purpose. That originally intended, does not seem to have stopped happening, and since then has continued to assist anyone. In fact, the convention of 2010 which currently holds the record for having the largest attendance of more than -130000. I admit it's a fairly bland, although I suspect that if we were given these statistics, the Comic-Con Episode IV: Hope of an amateur documentary could have been even more enlightening. Seeking an explanation for a layman to the appeal of the convention, I consulted friends and fellow film critics Mike Massie, and Joel, who both attended Comic-Con every year since 2006. Not surprisingly, they see only from the perspective of a spectator. "It's really about seeing celebrities," Mike said, "advanced image viewing and watching movies exclusive goodies that are sometimes years in advance." I, for one, am to be much more comfortable with anticipation.

Jive is a dance rhythm until it is used in lot of knee bending, lifting and twisting of women, swaying hips and lots of kicks. The Jive does not move across the dance floor may seem that way, the dancer has to keep your feet tucked well under his body with the knee not too close together. Jive can be danced to a variety of music including blues beat up, swing graphics applications, Disco, Latin, rock'n'roll, rhythm'n'blues, swing, boogie-woogie, Salsa, etc..

Spring brings not only flowers, sunshine and warmer weather, but two major religious holidays: Easter and Passover. While Passover commemorates the Israelites freedom from slavery in Egypt, Easter commemorates the resurrection and ascension of Jesus. These seem like positive holidays, but the highlight of the Biblical stories are preceded by some pretty heavy topics, including topics as dark as the betrayal, crucifixion, slavery and pests. Embedded in the history of life and death of Jesus and the history of the Israelites' struggle for freedom and escape from the Egyptians in the Red Sea coast is the common theme of faith and courage. I think this is most clearly seen when looking for the first time in the account of the separation of the Red Sea. For as Jesus lost faith in the Garden of Gethsemane and briefly on the cross, the Israelites lost faith as it was on the edge of that great body of water and saw the approach of the Egyptian. In both cases, however, faith in God, along with the courage to continue with the miracles took inspired action now held every spring during the Easter and Passover.

The Old Testament, or Five Books of Moses, says Moses parted the sea with his staff, but the midrash, or a story that fills a gap in the story, says that the sea was not actually part until a man named Nachshon actually walked on water. So Moses raised his staff, but the sea did not part. The Israelites were on the shore of the Red Sea with the Egyptian army is approaching and there is nowhere to go but into the sea. Fear began to cry out to God, and their lack of faith, who cry to Moses. Moses, however, simply told they have so much courage and faith. And what does God say? Of all things, God says, "Why do you cry to me? Tell the children of Israel to travel ". In other words, while Moses reminds them of the importance of both faith in God and courage, God says, "Stop looking at me for the answers. Get moving! Action! "That's a strange answer to the elected people's pleas for help, especially when they are caught between a sea and a huge army.

Nachshon, however, understand the answer of God. He had faith and courage. He hoped that if he took action that God provided the miracle you need. He heard the words, "Let go." I also knew that God's answer – "Why are you crying to me?" – I did not mean, "if you understand yourself." Is, " ; You have the answer. You know what to do. You have the tools. " Nachshon knew what those tools were – the power of your thoughts and vision. If he thinks that those waters are separated, if I could see that miracle happen and I feel that this happens – and if I really had faith that the water separated, they would, in fact, part. Remember, God told Moses to raise his staff and stretch out your hand over the sea and the sea is divided, but the midrash says that the sea did not part initially. (Perhaps they lacked the faith of Moses at the time …) Actually was not divided until Nachshon walked right into the ocean to the ankle, knee, waist, shoulder, chin up, to the nose. And just when I thought I would drown, low and behold, the waters parted. And then all the children of Israel were able to travel to safety. This act an insured his release. So, how does this story relate to Easter? Jesus told his followers of miracles he performed, "These things and more ye shall do." How could also work miracles? I believe in the same way Nachshon parted the Red Sea – with faith, surrender to the will of God, knowledge and trust that with true faith and inspired action we can manifest what we want or what is right at the time . Jesus was, in fact, a Christ. I think he was the Christ, but just being a spiritually enlightened as he knew how to connect thought and feeling and action and manifest at will. He showed us that when we know what we want and what we need when we focus on it, feel it, and have faith that will surely come to us, miracles happen. Manifestation occurs. And he told us he was just giving an example of human potential. Nachshon's faith was not so different from the faith that Jesus did on the cross or in the garden of Gethsemane. Like the Jews who had a moment of fear and lack of faith in the Red Sea, Jesus doubted his faith and the will of God or the divine plan, in the garden and again on the cross. In the garden, he struggled with his will and the will of God, asking that "you can do?" On the cross, he asked: "Oh, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" In both cases, he regained his faith and gave to the will of God, which inspired action. On the cross, gave not only his will but his soul to God. In doing so, he was able to achieve both his resurrection and ascension. Both Nachshon and Jesus offer us beautiful examples of men who had great courage and faith and were able to take inspired action – which was part of a divine plan. Examples are given of men, both Jewish men – who knew how to focus the thinking, feeling and action to bring the divine creative forces in motion, creating miracles in their lives and the lives of those around them. And that is something that both Jews and Christians – in fact anyone of any religion or no religion – can celebrate the season. —— Nina Amir, author of practice vacuum of meaningful and full of the Holy Prayers and Rituals … in 7 Easy Steps and The Kabbalah of Conscious Creation, is currently writing setting a place for God, a Woman's Guide to Creating Sacred Space and Inviting the Divine to dwell within it.

After weeks of being beaten by commercials promoting Discovery Channel 鈥 檚 first in a series called 鈥 淐 uriosity, 鈥? It would be difficult for anyone with just a bit curious to not give it a try and see a very little.

Produced by John Hendricks, the founder of Discovery Channel, the show will air every sixty episodes to deal with different issues. You have to find a more curious to take in the next fifty-nine, if they are nothing like the first. This is not a mere review of the program, but rather it is a competence of the premise on which it is based. The program was produced and narrated well, but it is difficult to conclude that the intention of using his science to close the mind, not to open them.

Initially, the program is like a flashback to my days as a freshman in college when teachers worked feverishly eager to convince his young disciples, and I, to dismiss any notion of God and establish false advertising learned the church. Using the known battle between Galileo and the Catholic Church seemed to mock at times, and bordering on insult. As always, the argument is what the church fathers, he said, and not about what the Bible says.

Curiosity, along with academics anxious, always leaves out the fact that the Bible has always supported the scientific findings of the true relationship of the sun and the planets of our solar system. The Bible never says the earth is the center of the solar system or universe. For those who walk on the writing alone can only repeat again that, when any Christian sect out of the Word, whether Catholic or a non-denominational megachurch incipient, the secularist will eat and theology as will be labeled as The folly of man and certainly his sentence under the sword of scientific research. Then there is the other side of the coin.

When the single-edged sword of the science of man struggling with double-edged sword of the Word of God there is never any contest.鈥 檚 word God will remain forever. That 鈥 檚 see why.

Curiosity was willing, as expected, willingness to use the bold conclusions drawn pompous and swelling of un-witnessed, the facts can not be verified so-called science. They are based on (again) before philosophical postulates. In short this means that, in describing the events that took place billions of years before anyone could witness, much less subjected to the scrutiny of science, is to delve into the realm of endless conjecture, speculation and forecasting maybe, but not science. What's worse is that 鈥 檚 as it leaves the definition of science, which is the collection of information repeatable observable phenomena, what we have here is an excursion into the realm known as 鈥 榝 to faith.鈥?

Since there is no proof that the universe began with the Big Bang than there is that Christ was raised from the dead you have to activate the element of faith to build the hypothesis. In fact, there is much more historical, archaeological and eyewitness of the resurrection of Christ in the Big Bang, but a topic for another time.

Curiosity, apparently used a series of assumptions to verifiable conclusions giant steps that begs to be examined and subjected to the calm and reasoning of science much harder speculation rather than scanning.

First, depended heavily on the meager results of science in the making all the new quantum mechanics. We are told that a single subatomic particle burst in creating an entire universe then produced what is now known as the laws of nature. From this we conclude that an unknown particle outlaw was floating in space by countless trillions of years until he had the opportunity to produce all there, and give the law, or as Stephen Hawking says, the laws of nature .

In a moment of Hawking says he will not offend those who have faith in God. Not once did they seem to realize that suggesting further requires faith and ultimately is a response that could cost many people dearly. Hawking is heralded as one of the brightest minds of the time, but I realize that all that glitters of a person's talent, virtuosity and intelligence does not necessarily come from God. Christ said that the light inside may be obvious to everyone, but it very well could be the dark and asks the question that every secularist Hawking and others should carefully weigh. 鈥 泪 f therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness 鈥? (Mt 6, 23)

Relying on the findings of quantum science to explain the universe can not be compared with something like the strong and tangible product 鈥 檚 Einstein theory of relativity, but a curious mind under the dominion of fascinating, colorful paintings, graphics the solar system in its infancy, with large explosions Bang, black holes and points of view of countless stars, galaxies and planets, all the strongest minds, but be prepared to accept the program 's conclusions. These conclusions are inherently weak and incomplete, and that is their failure. The premise is faulty was founded by science 鈥 檚 own definition rather than the Bible.

Not once do the narrators of the program or, a theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking attempt to explain the origins of the subatomic particle responsible for fatal fabulous kicking off our universe. One conclusion we can safely, is that science has indicated its own tiny god and creator. Forget the silly old question of how many angels could fit on the head of a pin, now science says millions of creators could establish himself in the same space.

Perhaps the Athenians of ancient Greece is happy to know that science has finally identified the deity (Agnostos Theos) who built the famous temple of the god unknown in the Areopagus. In fact, until science can explain who or what caused or created the original subatomic particle that will have to return to his theorem and look much further back. I would suggest that they have no plan to make in the very near future.

In forty years of asking this question of the origins of the sub-atomic particles that supposedly came together to wake up and create the universe we have only drawn a complete silence. Returning to the argument of the particle and leaping forward with a whole universe, not a science and in fact is totally dishonest. The word 鈥 鈥 干 rigins? Not addressed but that certainly has been misused.

Curiosity biggest leap is needed is where you lose the whole. Interspersed with Hawking 's comments and guessing about the use of simple alternative kind of science to explain the universe, which are then taken on an exciting journey through the universe whirls around to reach a nameless hole black giant. This is where we are told that all matter, stars, planets and science, even 鈥 檚 revered creator, the original subatomic particle, vacuuming, and even time itself will cease to exist.

There are no allusions to the Bible or science of homeostasis is invoked to fully explain how or why, time ceases to exist and the meaning of condemnation of all things manages to prevail. Somehow the whole idea is like a scientific version inspired by hell. No hope, final and indescribable. Once again the faith which should be convened to accept this theory is incomprehensible.鈥 檚 The Bible version is certainly less cerebrally prosecutor, has a real historical context, and for most people even more gullible.

Curiosity concludes that since all the time stops when absorbed by the black hole, that God (if any) would not have had, or the chance to find, at any time in which to create the universe. It is here that I can only ask the reader to pause and carefully consider this conclusion. Who would have guessed that the priests of science, the development of their own particular species of eschatology. Now is an explanation of the beginning and end of all things.

The Bible says more than 150 times that God created man and the universe. We think that to say no, but we have to call him a liar over a hundred times, and yet we all and the scientist in the final cut for the great common denominator that we know as death. The difference between the believer and the scientist secular later, ie, that a group can only be wrong, and the other may be wrong and condemned. The best science can make men 鈥 檛 still can think, bet on a losing proposition as bad as that.

According to the Bible the law of nature does not limit God in any way. He natures of God, is that created time and he alone has the authority to initiate, and take over. Consequently this is exactly what the second coming of Christ and of every one who dies before that event.

鈥 淎 ª swore by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created the heaven and the things which are therein, and the earth, and things which are therein, and the sea, and things which are therein that there should be time no longer 鈥 (Rev 10, 6).?

Time and God 鈥 檚 authority over it is one of the biggest reasons the man needs to pay attention to laws, orders, and the gospel of Christ. We are strictly warned that because time as we know it is time we pay attention and obey every edict of God.

Although the past, present and future are equally known by God, its laws do not originate or belong to one or two of these segments we refer to in our understanding of time. He had no beginning and no end. His laws have left a realm far above the past, present or future. God 's laws come from a place called the eternal. It is a place that is not now, nor ever was, subject to the ravages of time. He does not care anything about the nature 鈥 ™ s laws of entropy and is not subject to the destructive power of a black hole.

According to the writings of the moon sun and stars that will someday be removed for the final resting place of men and women redeemed is a God who offers a new heaven and a new earth. He is the light of this planet and no artificial light is needed. The Bible says that raises the stars and the heavens like a scroll. That would include black holes and all suspicious of science along with them.

The prophet Daniel said that near the end of time as we know, man would have increased their knowledge of all things exponentially. Some 800 years later the apostle Paul commented on this new knowledge, saying that men would 鈥 淓 see learning and never able to get to know the truth 鈥 (2 Timothy 3: 7).? Paul later concluded that he was the man 鈥 檚 newfound knowledge that trap them in their own pride activates the trap of deception. 鈥 淧 rofessing be wise, they became fools 鈥 (Rom 1: 22)?

It is much like the man, who after jumping only a quarter of a million miles to the moon and back, a distance traveled by many frequent flyers of the earth, that I would talk about the distances we can not imagine in space outside. We also addressed the unknown distance between the beginning and the end? Perhaps science doesn 鈥 檛 think it is totally legitimate, not direct their own prophets empirical certificates. How presumptuous to remind of faith between them and the false prophets to warn the laity who have a full contingency of their own false prophets.

Long before Paul, the great prophet Isaiah by the power of the Holy Spirit, said the man, God's wisdom and knowledge 鈥 檚 should not be compared with ours. Can not be attributed anthropomorphic or transfer the intelligence and wisdom of God to a mere mortal. By any other name would be presumptuous and a great attempt to make us wiser than or equal to God.

Isaiah said, 鈥 淔 or my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts 鈥 (Isaiah 55: 8, 9).?

More surprising is the fact that God invites man to share this place called eternity. It has placed a door that no one on earth can enter, regardless of status, gender or age, and could care less if you have a good understanding of quantum physics or if it could give a shout about it. It takes faith to go through the door marked 鈥 榯 that cross of Christ, 鈥? But again, how long it takes faith to believe that science 鈥 檚 version of the beginning and end of all things?

After giving the apostle John a detailed description of all events that will precede the Second Coming of Christ says John why he has been a revelation. Not only tells John that he is the creator of all things, but he is also the only one who can bring everything to the end: I'm sorry black holes, Discovery Channel and Stephen Hawking.

鈥 淎 nd that saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book, because time is at hand. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, be righteous still: and he that is holy, be holy still. And behold, I come quickly and my reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and last 鈥 (Revelation 22: 10-13).?
